beautiful ...
I have listened to many Native American Flute artists. Everything
from scratchy old recordings to New Age "ambient" variations.
I've also spoken personally with Native American people about
what their history and spiritual beliefs mean to them. ...I've
begun to develop an idea of which musicians have found their
way closest to an authentic sound..... understanding that indefinable
"something" that makes Native American music voice
unique in the world. The list of people I think can do this is
not long. ... I want to say the Fretwells are on my short list.

The Native American
Flute is a unique wind instrument. It reaches deep inside the
listener as well as the player and touches the spirit. It is
a great joy to play and hear. The people who listen to our music
use it to put them to sleep at night, relax them on their drive
home from work, calm their little children while riding in the
car, and aid them when they are meditating. Other uses for our
music are: music therapy, part of your yoga routine, massage
therapy, aroma therapy, healing, rejuvenation, and natural stress
relief. |

We are a family
of musicians. We play many instruments. Although The Native American
Flute is the feature instrument in all our songs, we have included
complementary instruments as well ie... Keyboards, Guitars, Bass
